FRACTAL AUDIO AXE FX III and FM9 PRESETS

8 Fractal Audio Axe FX presets are included with the purchase of the 5150 BUNDLE.

They are downloadable here:

**FIRMWARE NOTICE

(FRACTAL AUDIO AXE FX III and FM9 owners must have 21.01 (III) or 4.0 (FM9) firmware installed in order for the presets to work as intended.)

Firmware editions lower than 21.01 or 4.0 will load the presets but they will present as EMPTY.

**Some presets require expression pedals to work as intended

**It’s important to note that the preset files for the AXE III and the FM9 are the same and located in one folder. All of the files will load in both machines.

(Upon loading the presets to the FM9, the AXE III presets are automatically restructured to operate on the FM9. They will be missing blocks that exist on the AXE III but do not exist on the FM9.)

2. "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love"

3. "DOA"

4. "Beautiful Girls"

Even though the FRACTAL AUDIO FM3 is not compatible with the presets I’ve created for the AXE III and FM9 I decided to try replicate my “Eruption” preset for FM3 users.

Due to the technical limitations of the FM3 the preset sounds very close but the preset is not identical to the AXE III.

(As described above with the AXE III and FM9, the FM3 has less amp, cab and effects blocks available for use, so therefore some portions of the presets will not be available in the FM3.)

A different version must be loaded into the FM3 and presets I decide to make for that machine will be located here:

NOTE FOR FUTURE - I will be creating FRACTAL AXE FX BUNDLE CONTENT of all of my favorite guitar tones as separate products in 2026.
