Dweezil Zappa

I don’t know why I waited a year to install the red pick guard. But, now that it’s been done, this project finally looks and feels complete. It plays and sounds fantastic. 

I have had a set of the reissue cunife humbuckers in a drawer for a year. At some point, I’ll use them to build a more budget guitar, or drop them into a good used guitar. 

Since the addition of the new guitars, I’m very happy and satisfied with my selection of instruments right now. So, there’s no rush. I’ll be concentrating more on an automotive project in the meanwhile.

Hey, @Dweezil. Do have a cool ride? My 83 year old father gave me his 80’s “G body” El Camino a few months ago, I wish to restore and drive it in his memory, after he’s passed on. ✌ 

^pexc^ster #3 is finally nearing completion. I’m excited. My luthier called it a “Fuck you guitar.” Hehe

The neck for ^pexc^ster #3 arrived yesterday. It is beautiful.
