My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama
Dweezil Zappa Solo album #2, 1988. Released on Chrysalis Records. Produced by Beau Hill.
I was 17 years old when I made the album. It was the only album I did while signed to a major label. It's got the Hard Rock sound of the '80s and there's no stopping it! Steve Smith and Terry Bozzio on drums too!
It's pretty crazy how much things changed after that!
Hi Chris,
I don't have CD stock for any of my albums, with the exception of "Go With What You Know." The rest are only available as downloads. I will be opening up my merchandise store on my site very soon. We will have an assortment of t-shirts and other goodies as well as the "Go With What You Know disc." Future plans are to have much more video content. Full concerts and some guitar instructional content as well. It just takes a bit of time to organize!
Cool!! At least one is in stock as physical media. I understand CDS are not so popular nowadays so that's okay. May I add that if you do plan to release limited copies of this or that in the future, I will be one of the first in line for that, even if they're at a slightly higher price. If this is connected at all with reward music, EVEN better!! Thanks for the reply!!/m//m/
This was my first DZ album - still enjoy it. Curious what the source for this is - original CD mastering or remaster? Were there live dates or a tour for this album? I was a year or 2 too young at the time it would have happened, and have always been curious if there are live recordings from the era.
