Tucker C.

First ep was so awesome I didn't want it to end. Eagerly anticipating the rest. Thank you for this.

Hi Tucker,

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! We will keep them coming each week!

Got the whole 5150 package and I've just finished listening to the first episode, amazing stuff!! I can't wait for the next one, really looking forward to the brown sound episode too! Thanks Dweezil!

Dweezil

Glad you're enjoying it Rocco! The Brown Sound episode is going to be a lot of fun and will be very educational as well. The next episode is part 2 with Steve Vai. Premiering next week.

Dimitri Laskas

Hey Dweezil,

This is so awesome, I got the whole enchilada and cant wait to hear the whole series!!  Just listened to episode 1 with Steve Vai, this is so cool to hear all the back stories and you two chatting away about music and your history as friends... Miss seeing and hearing you play live but this whole new format is great, was at Tarrytown show and its been too long, hope to see you guys in 2021 .. Stay Safe..

Hi Dimitri,

Thanks so much, I'm glad you're enjoying the series! It's pretty crazy that live music has been halted indefinitely. When we are able to play again I look forward to seeing you there! Be well, DZ

Hi Dweezil!

I can't believe it's been 10 years since the first Dweezilla! Thanks so much for doing this podcast. Looking forward to digging in. I've always thought your playing was a mix of your father and EVH.

I hope to see you and the band live again next year.

There is NO ONE on the entire planet better than you Dweezil to recreate the Brown Sound and Eddie's tones.

I hope you put that particular episode and some Axe-Fx III presets up earlier than later, because I know everyone will geek out and freak out with joy on that so much!

Thanks for all you do brother!  I need to put me a recurring calendar date to keep checking back here for all these goodies to be rolled out!  My best to the fam! - Buddy

PS - Once you do this, I'd like to link and post on my website and Facebook/Instagram page etc. to these amazing stuff coming, to spread the word/promote it for you.  A LOT of Fractal users will want this content badly!  There are some good EVH presets out there, I've even made a few that are popular, but YOURS will be the benchmark by which all are judged ands superior in every way -- really stoked, can't wait!

Dweezil

Thanks Buddy! I am looking forward to doing that episode and recreating the sounds. I think we will bring in a video crew while we do the testing so that we can have even more exclusive content for everyone.

I plan on making my presets with exacting detail! It's going to be fun!

Robert DuPuy

DZ I am so excited to hear this especially insights into W&CF and FW.  What external influences helped create his ear and style.

Dweezil

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your note. I'm actually speaking to Billy Corgan tomorrow about Fair Warning. We will see what we can dig up? Haven't recorded W&CF yet but I'll keep your questions in mind!

WOW 7 months  of in-depth VAN HALEN geekery !!! I am signed up and ready to listen. I am really looking forward to what ya have to offer as far as Kemper Goodness. I promoted the podcast on my instagram. This is really great. Thanks brother Zappa

Dweezil

Hi Mark, Thanks for your support! I'm excited to share all of the goodness with everyone. One more great thing to share with everyone is that we are donating 5% of proceeds to Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation (EVH's favorite charity) and also another 5% to Feeding America (VH supported food drives on their tours). All good things!

Darrin R.

Very cool Dweezil

As far as the Axe-FX III presets go...please include in the presets the proper (as is possible) panning of guitar/reverb etc...And if you personally use anything other than the onboard factory cab IRs, then please name the exact commercial 3rd party IR cabs that you use to help nail that classic early tone, so that we can purchase them. It's only logical that a Axe-FX III Brown Sound dialing in session by Dweezil is in your near future. I know it would be a big seller!

Dweezil

Hi Darrin,

Thanks for your support. I'll definitely include the info you're requesting. I haven't made the presets yet but I'm looking forward to doing that and will be excited to share them with you.

David " DMC " McCain

Just curious: Will this content be available as the months go onward? I'd like to purchase the whole bundle but I'm waiting for a significant cash deposit ( for my birthday ) toward the end of this month. I didn't see any mention of a time limit hence my question. Thanks!

Dweezil

Hi David,

The podcast is in production and the completed episodes will launch weekly as they are ready. With 30 episodes that means there will be content coming weekly for at least the next 7 months. The Steve Vai episode launches on Thursday at noon.

AustinBuddy

Excited to get this!

Dweezil

I hope you enjoy it! I'm looking forward to making the presets for Axe FX III. The whole reverse engineering the Brown Sound episode will be fun and illuminating.

Guillermo L.

Thanks for doing this !. I purchased the whole kaboom right away as I know this will be amazing. For us axe fx III users, is there a away we can get a couple of  advance patches you commonly use to get to know how you approach the dialing in of the patches ?  Thanks in advance

Dweezil

Hi Guillermo,

Thank you for your support. The podcast is in production and episodes will begin launching weekly very soon. I'm in the planning stages of the reverse engineering of the Brown Sound episode. We need to organize a studio to do the work. I will keep your suggestion in mind and see if there is a way to get one preset together sooner rather than later. With everything involved in the day to do workload, it may end up happening further down the road.

The presets that I will be making will be as meticulous as possible. I will be excited to share the end result with you.

Best, DZ

I wish I was a guitarist. Then am sure I'd enjoy these podcasts much more.
